Project Launch
We officially introduce A Home for Habitat to the community - sharing the vision, goals, and impact of this transformational project. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter for Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and the people we serve.
May 4, 2026
Construction Begins
Construction officially gets underway as site work begins and the vision starts to take shape. This phase represents the collective effort of partners, supporters, and volunteers coming together to move the project forward.
Fall 2026
New Building is Erected
The new structure begins to rise, bringing visible momentum to the project. As walls go up and the footprint takes form, the future home of our organization becomes a reality.
Fall 2027
ReStore Relocation & Opening
ReStore operations transition into the new, expanded space and open to the public. With increased capacity and improved layout, the new store enhances the shopping experience while supporting our mission in even greater ways.

Winter 2028
Project Complete
With construction complete, all Sussex County Habitat for Humanity operations are unified under one roof. This milestone represents a stronger, more connected organization, ready to serve more families and build more homes across Sussex County.
